The Cessna model 162 is an all-metal, single-engine piston, high-wing monoplane with a two-person seating capacity. Suitable allowance for luggage is provided aft of the seats. The 162 will be equipped per FAR 91.205 to meet both Day and Night VFR flight requirements. Cessna's worldwide network of authorized service centers provides a complete source for all servicing needs.

Interior Appointments
The SkyCatcher interior consists of the following amenities:
- Two forward-hinged seats pivot forward to allow easy access to aft baggage area.
- Seat belts and shoulder harnesses
- A neutrally painted interior
- Armrests on the cabin doors
- Glareshield with LED wash lighting
- Center console containing map and general storage areas
- 12.5 (.35 m3) cubic foot baggage compartment accessible by rotating the seats forward
- Baggage net provided to retain articles in the baggage area
Exterior Features
The SkyCatcher will receive an overall solid color with optional graphic designs to be determined on an annual basis.
Instrument Panel
A single Garmin G300 display will provide primary flight and engine information in a split screen format. A Garmin SL40 Com radio, Garmin GTX327 Mode C transponder, and a 121.5 Mhz ELT will be standard equipment.
